Vanilla Frosting


1 cup of butter or vegan butter
1 cup of shortening or vegan alternative
6 cups of icing sugar
1 tbsp of pure vanilla extract
1 pinch of salt
2 tbsps of milk or oat milk
1 Lulubelle & Co food colouring (optional)


1. Beat the butter and shortening (and food colouring) together on medium high speed until fluffy, about 5 minutes.
2. Add icing sugar, 2 cups at a time, beating well between additions.
3. Add vanilla, salt and milk. Beat until desired consistency, adding more milk if necessary.

(you can freeze any remaining icing for another time)

In this recipe
